David immediately identified this as Clos St Denis, given its similar fruit profile to the 2016 tasted just prior. I then immediately identified this as from 2011 given the degree of ripeness and faint bitter hint.

Dinner at Levernois (L’Hostellerie de Levernois): Floral and nicely spice in the manner of top CSDs. Red fruit throughout, just with a slightly rugged edge on the finish that needs to soften with more cellar age.

Domaine Amiot-Servelle Visit and Tasting (Day 12, Visit 2) (Chambolle-Musigny): Antoine served this blind to our group after the 2016 lineup.Moderately ripe red cherry with subtle spice. Good+ density with savory and bitter notes on finish. Better to cellar a few more years for the rough edges to soften.
