No formal note; fragrant and elegant in the nose, citrus fruits, honey, and yellow flowers; creamy, fruity, and savory with some honey-coated tannins on the palate; long and refreshing finish; overall, 92-93 points at this stage.

Poured from the decanter, the bouquet and taste evolves quikly and shows ripe gooseberries, young blackberries and some sour cherries enriched by fresh tabacco, cigarbox and smoked wood. The long finish and the quite present tannins speak for one or another year in the cellar. BoW 18/20

Same experience as the previous notes. Give the wine lots of time in the decanter. Like 1.5 - 2 hours long. The wine out of the bottle was totally acidic and astringent. Very tannic and tart. Given time, floral notes and bright red fruits(cherries, strawberries) start to appear. Smooth palate and moderate finish. Seems a bit like Volnay. Nearing the last few glasses, the wine produced some gamey aromas and gained quite a bit of weight. This wines needs time... Lots of it. Could be a 92-93 pointer in the future. Important note - Time in the cellar or decanter is definitely important. Try to drink it around 15-16 °C.

Drank by the glass at Restaurant Nicolas. Not bad - popped and poured from a fresh bottle, this was quite enjoyable after a little time in the glass to take in some air and knit together. As usual with these young Burgundies, the last sip - some hour and a half after opening - was better than the first. There was a nice floral character on the nose along with red fruited notes of sweet cherries, raspberries and strawberries chased by brambly herb and spice and a little earthiness. The palate was just a little on the light side - a reflection of the vintage perhaps, but had a clear, clean feel to it, with juicy citrus acidity flouncing through more red fruited strawberry and cherry flavours that had a pleasing clarity to them. Past the midpalate, some very Beaune notes of spice and flowers set in before a little flush of warmth at the finish. A very decent wine. Great with pigeon, a little less so with epoisses, but certainly enjoyable throughout.

Need s LOT of air if you drink it now - after 3 hours in a decanter it startened to get interesting. Animalic nose with rubber and deep fruit; very acidic and with strong and mouthdrying tannins. Medium aftertaste.
