Leroy #9 Flowers, hyacinth, lily and violets on the nose. Moist earthy notes, moss, cheese, hints of smoke, old furniture, attic. Fantastic fruit concentration, young but already complex in character. Amazing wine!

Light to medium garnet. Fantastic nose of coffee, forrest floor and raspberry. Medium-bodied, elegant and soft. Balanced, with amazing purity of fruit and a long aftertaste.

Interesting nose of dark fruit, burnt rubber and spice. Sweet, red fruit and spice on the palate. Great primary flavor. Touch of green every now and then and but this gave it character. Medium finish.

Medium red in color, bright red fruit nose with mean greenies, green pepper and herbal, slight residual oak. Medium palate with decent balance but not a lot of depth. Quite forward for a new Leroy and the greenies worst seen in a Domaine Leroy bottle since 2004.

Light red cherries, sulphur and overwhelming greenness. Second time trying Leroys 2011. The greenness is a common characteristic for this vintage. And it will probably persist.
