Surprisingly oaky, and even has a touch of buttery flavour and aroma from the ML. Was really hoping this was going to be brighter and crisper, more in the style of the Iron Horse Estate Chardonnay. Alas, it's more like Rombauer.

This wine has calmed down a bit since initial release. No detailed notes, but opened with appetizers before the big Tday meal. Well received. Medium plus acid, what seemed to be full malo. Decent quaffer.

An interesting tasting chardonnay from Dry Creek, not typical. Has bold fruit flavors, with an oak finish - different yet entirely enjoyable. Wine was barrel fermented and aged, so it has a very unique taste and feel from most other Dry Creek Chardonnay.
