Pale red and very clear. Nose of sweet cherry and light cranberry. Dry and tart with a lightly bitter finish, with flavors of cherry, strawberry. Simple crisp and enjoyable wine for a simple dinner. alt=3

Lovely rich fruit of strawberries and cherries, a vin de plaisir but also serious and well-structured, good balance between the alcohol and the ripe fruit, touch of mint and other herbs, nice bitters. Perfect on a hot day in September.

Pull the cork and fire up the grill, for $8 this is great summer sipping. Mainly grenache, this rose is slightly darker than others, not much to say abnout the simple nose, but very lively palate with cherry and strawberry, crisp acidity, hints of herb (mint?) in the finish. Simple, but very well-made and great warm weather quaffing.

The bottle says "A fruity dry rose" and it is right on the money. A little sweetness. Simple but enjoyable.
