This wine is medium dark purple and moderately opaque. An interesting nose of cherry, cedar and licorice. It is dry and has flavors of licorice and cola. It was an okay wine, but not bad for the cheap price point.

Second bottle good as the first. Paired nicely with pan-grilled lamb (which takes away the sins of the world). The strong flavour of the meat almost overpowered the wine, but not quite. Drink now or within the next six months.

Very grape'y' taste. Not like wine I'm used to. Thick like a desert wine, in fact I have decided it IS a desert red.

Rustic & ripe out of the bottle. To be honest, this tastes EXACTLY like many French hybrids grown here in the Midwest of the USA. Solid red.
