The wine was disappointing and at the time of consumption not worth the money. The fruit was big but a bit tart. I believe that I drank the bottle way too soon.

Another nice high acid 2011 OR chard, this one paled though next to the Crowley and the Maresh. Ridiculous price point... Serene has gotten a ton of press lately and they've blown out the prices to match.

POP - I'm not much of a chard drinker but I did enjoy this bottle. A bit high in acid but over all well balance. The lack of oak and the buttery mouth feel makes me believe this spent little to no time in oak (i'll need to look that up). Lime and vanilla with a hint of spices and a med finish. Paired well with halibut and wild rice.

High acidity, lean, with very little fruit. Too much tartness for me. Maybe should have drank the bottle last year.
