Light gold color. This was quite restrained when we first opened it, with a reticent nose and a rather restricted palate. Allowed to warm up and breathe, both the nose and the palate expanded signficantly. Aromas of stone and baking spice, as well as a rich buttery smell. This carried through on the palate, which showed ample (but not overdone) oak. The mouth, like the nose, is broad and rich. The acidity on this is quite mellow now, and it is likely at its drinking peak. Nice white Burgundy, made in a very accessible style.
