Tasted blind. Clear, day bright, medium intensity yellow with some gold and green hues. Medium (+) to high viscosity. The nose is clean, medium in intensity and youthful, with aromas of ripe yellow apple, lemon, peach, pineapple, sweet spice (clove, cinnamon), butter and dough. The palate is dry but fruit forward, consistent with the nose and with noticeable oak influence. Medium acidity and medium (+) to high alcohol (14.5%). It is very pleasant, with medium (+) body, intensity, complexity and length. Drink now through 2016.

Lemon nose with a bit of oak and vanilla on the palate. The acidity balances out the fruit and richness. A bit of a traditional California chard, but I like it. Maybe even a lot. Very Good to Outstanding. thedrunkencyclist.com
