  Beautiful bouquet of dried roses, red berries, stemmy notes, brown spice and earth. Slender-bodied with highish acidity, lots of flavour and silky texture. Drinking really well now and should develop well for another five. Lovely traditional style.

  decanted and poured. Gourgeous nose of spice, earth, and dark cherry. Body is medium weight but pretty, lively and silky with flavors of dense earth, spice, mineral and background dark cherry fruit. Long lingering finish.

  Very Vosne in style with elegant and exotic spiciness all over the nose. While perhaps I am dinging the wine for being sublime I think maybe it was too much so. Either it is very closed up in terms of the fruit in the palate or it just does not have much in the way of richness of fruit and relies more upon the aromatic qualities of Vosne for its substance. Still a nice wine but with a tad more fruit it would be excellent in the mid-palate and have more length.
