Nice ruby color with medium legs. Dark fruit on the nose. Medium mouth feel. Cherries and plum on the palate. Slightly tart. Mild pepper on the finish. Still drinking nicely.

This is such a dandy right now -- attractive brown/red, vital nose with dark cherries, tar, forest floor, smoked charcuteries, violets and licquorice. On the palate quite chewy, lively though well integrated tannins, animalistic and vibrant acidity with bitter fruit, black tea, and good length. Holds up well on its own but is probably best paired with food. Can be held for a couple of years more but will likely start winding down soon. On the expensive side for this type of barbera but I'd say it's worth it.

I was surprised by this one. Deep, rich fruit that still had life left in it.

En årgång som jag tidigare tyckt varit undermålig men som nu blommat ut. Fyllig, komplex med björnbär och mörk frukt.
