  Med/deep straw colour, bouquet of ripe banana, pineapple and quince tempered with vanilla and butterscotch. The palate is full, rich, mature with a perfect balance of banana, pineapple and quince. This has developed into a superb, elegant, mature and well balanced example of what a top end chardonnay can display.

  Took this to options night and blew everyone away. Most of the winemakers in the group thought it was an extremely expensive Old World bottle. Perfectly balanced, toasty nutty notes, roasted chestnuts, butterscotch and tropical fruits. Rich, full-bodied texture, extremely long palate length. Slightly golden, but still in fantastic condition. Exceptional wine. Well stored bottles still have plenty of mileage.

  Amazed that this was considered over-the-top years ago. Check provenance. Recent AWC tasting in UK - superb bottle from en-primeur purchase. Classic aging shade, but no hint of oxydation. Very little sediment. Pure tropical fruit with that butterscotch edge hinting at a sweet wine, but perfectly dry. Palate had depth and length of a genuine classic. Knocked spots off many a white Burg at twice the price. Still had structure and body.
  Best white wine tasted in 2021 - by a mile!

  Very deep straw/medium gold in colour. Bouquet of rich tropical fruit and vanilla with banana, pineapple and melon. Full, rich, mature fruit and oak on the palate. The depth and balance is superb - the length incredible giving a real mouthful of ripe rich flavours.

  Bursting with apples. Red , green, overnight apple juice. It's just gears of apples galore. Way past it's prime but hey it's apple and green grape juice.
