Pop and pour and consumed over two days. Distinctly Rhys and California with a streak of ripe red fruit. Mid weight with earthy notes of pine. Altogether a good wine with good weight and detail. Almost as good on day 2 and I suspect these wines will easily drink well for another ten years.

At LBank…. Needed 20 minutes to blow off some haze and color starting to turn. Lots of earth, a bit cloudy, apple spice, cinnamon, decent acidity, blood orange.darker berries emerge after 60 minutes. Worked well with food and nice texture from whole cluster. Next bottle 2026.

PnP, earth, black cherry, spice, cranberry and a healthy dose of stems on the nose. More complexity with black cherry, spice, earth, cranberry a good dose of stems and herbal flavors. Nice balance in a medium finish. May be the best bottle yet.

Firm acidity and some mild tannins frame a pinot that is clearly new world in aromatic profile (a little candied red fruit, pomegranate, almost cola) and give it a more burgundian mouthfeel. Overall a little hard to reconcile. Likable overall. No significant evolution after 10 years, so certainly you could hold this.

Drinking perfectly right now. Greta depth and structure to this wine. Opened up after 30 mins or so.
