From magnum. In the context of a Languedoc wine this was excellent with slow-cooked lamb shoulder. Tasty on opening but carafed due to the sediment. Impressive for a natural wine from a hot terrior. Silky smooth with dark berries (mostly cherries) and an inky texture. Deep and satisfying...

A blend of 70% Carignan (60 year old vines), 15% Grenache (100 YO) and 15% Mourvèdre (50 YO), yield of 30 hl/ha, 14 months in demi-muids. A very energetic, pure and expressive wine, with a nose of ripe complex fruit (black cherry, red currant, peach, green apple), smoke, striking mineral freshness, spices and garrigue, hint of warmth from the wood; good tension and balance on the palate, medium weight, still quite tight but with the stuffing to buffer the acidity and the present but ripe tannins; very good length, lovely aromatic persistence. Superior Minervois, drink now - 2019. Easily worth the € 20 the domaine charges for it. From the Cwines Signature Box.

Well made, it's excellent. Rich, spicy, tanins are soft, long finish
for the price, don't miss the opportunity to jump on it
