Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • From a 375ml bottle, fine tartrate crystals forming on a cork closure, the pour is clear bright pink. Initial 45F pour lacking much aroma, but allowed to warm a bit strawberry and light floral elements began to form. Entry and mid palate carried through with the aroma without surprises. Dry, but the fruit gave hints of sweetness nicely balanced with acidity; strawberry, lychee, a bit of spice and mild oak/tannins on a medium finish. Not overly complex, but a nice light food friendly or solo sipper bottle.
