Last bottle of 24 still surprisingly good for its age and stature, but noticeably now on the down side - I wouldn’t wait to drink any remaining bottles.

Wednesday wine night at Chateau YB. Tasted blind. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, gold colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of honey, almond nuts, marzipan, citrus lemon. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of pineapple, citrus lemon curd, honey, nuts, salty wet stones minerality. Long finish. Good quality. Nice ripe fruits on the palate. Feels like a warm vintage. I was guessing 2009 Chassagne Premier Cru. Time to drink up, not for further ageing.

Drank at Courreur des Bois restaurant out side of Montreal.
Beautiful golden appearance. Perhaps a bit evolved for its age.
Very fresh on the nose with classic CM aromas of honeyed stone fruits (peach etc.) , honey and spice.
Medium to medium plus in body with good acidity and a long finish.
Delicious stuff - I would drink up , but who knows?
