  On the palate the wine is dry with medium acidity, medium+ alcohol and a medium+ body. Medium+ intensity and a medium+ finish.   Guessed Savennieres blind due to the broad style combined with the alcohol and the obvious old world character. Kudos to @Karl Ek for getting this spot on!
  
  Did not particularly enjoy this. Interesting nose but felt the palate was a bit disjointed and plagued by the alcohol. Would be interesting to try in 5-7 years.

  Youthful nose with a medium intensity. Aromas of pear, melon, peach, apricot, spice box and honey comb.
  
  Dry on the palate with a medium acidity and medium body. Medium intensity with flavors of grey pear, peach, apricot, white flower and spice box. The finish is medium with a distinct bitterness and alcohol warmth.
  
  Very typical Smaragd Grüner but it's clumsy, a little bitter and lacking freshness. A style that I have a serious hard time to appreciate.
  Probably way to young today.
