  • Clear, golden colour. Fairly large bq w citrus, oak, gooseberries, hint of asparagus. Medium+ body w fatty fruit, plenty of acidity, good balance, nice aftertaste with citrus and some bitterness. Peaking now, maybe one year left. Nice wine, nice QPR.

Lite elegantare, lite mera slimmat, lite bättre, lite diskretare, lite godare. 88 p.

  • Retailer tasting (Le Bouchon): The bouquet is a bit pleasantly stinky with some smoke and oak. On the palate good citrus and also the smoky and oaky flavors. Tasty wine.

  • WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Pale Lemon colour
Nose: The nose is Clean and Youthful , showing Medium(-) intensity primary aromas of lemon, grapefruit, blossom.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has a Medium Level of alcohol (12.0%), Medium(-) body and Medium(-) intensity primary flavours of lemon, grapefruit. The finish is Medium(-)
Overall: The wine shows simple fruit character with no other source of complexity. It is well-balanced between the fruit and the acid, with reasonable concentration on the palate. The wine is not complex or concentrated enough to be considered Very Good, hence it is a Good wine.
Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing - the wine lacks substance (from the fruit concentration) for ageing - it is unlikely the flavours will develop into anything more interesting than the fresh fruit that it currently displays ; Mid-Priced (£ 9.49 )
