Tones of vanilla, candy cane, fading ripe berries, allspice, and herbal flowers. An unbelievable olfactory experience, shall we say 'tres' long nose? Soft, gentle balance, easy drinker. Medium length. Just as good on the second night. Shelf life? Oui, at least another 5 years.

In 2000 Domaine Dujac launched a new venture under the name Dujac Fils et Père, the son/father team established partnerships with some of the top growers in Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. This wine is the product of one of those partnerships. Very good villages level wine. A tad young still as a good amount of oak is present but the raw material here is very good. Will revisit in a few years and will try to do blind vs the Domaine C-M and see what the differences are.

Very open fresh fruity style - mostly red berry, some wood present. Balance is exceptional and the nose - well this is just a good sniffer wine. Chambolle when it is best.

Très bon chambolle village, typique de l'appellation, belle texture en bouche.

Light red, bit reductive upon opening but blew off, cherries, savory, Chinese herbal soup of red dates, raspberry, big for a chambolle, delicious!
