Nothing at all a Pinot! Not a bad drink, really fruity and good finish but never ever Pinot character. Blueberries, cassis, concentrated, tight. Okay under all that there are some Pinot cherries and the wine has good acidity. Let it breathe and open up ~24h and serve at 12-14 Celsius.

Pinot Noir, Languedoc style. This is really pretty good. Not exactly typical, looks like they tried to match the terroir to the varietal. We can easily identify this as Pinot, but there are plenty of things to mention that are slightly atypical. The color is darker and more opaque. There are some youthful grainy tannins. It is slightly thicker and more rich. The nose is faintly Pinot as we know it with raspberry and cherry, some oak and grainy, flinty earth. The fruit is quite "Old World", not immediately expressive, and backed with secondary non fruit flavors. Distinctively acidic. The finish is fairly tannic and gamey earthy mostly red fruit.

Black currant, blueberry, copper. Rather fruity for the style. Forgettable.
