Wine began quite closed, with earthy aroma and flavour. I didn't particularly like it. Gave it some air and after half an hour and one glass, it was beginning to come around as some acid appeared to liven its bouquet and flavour. At an hour it was a totally different wine. Moderately red - darker than most Willamette PNs and lighter than most California. Nice legs. Relatively simple aroma of red fruit with some floral accents. Red cherry dominates the flavour with moderate earthiness and a touch of pepper. Surprisingly good for the price. A solid, every day Pinot Noir.
