  • Liked this at the tasting room last year for our anniversary. Loved it today.

Nose of lemons, butter, minerals and smoke. Palate is bright and sweet and gorgeous with an orange-lime core (almost like a margarita) and a curious celery note. Finish is long and shapely. Good for White Burg fans. 4

  • Sour apple, nutmeg, and lemon on the nose. High acidity on the palate with ok finish.

  • elegant, delicate and zesty. Finish goes on forever- very balanced, quite subtle.

  • Pale gold in color. Really nice, classy chardonnay nose, with that distinct combination of rounded apple, peach, pineapple, and apricot fruit alongside savory mineral and smoky notes and rich, biscuity/pie crust character from the oak (as well as, I presume, lees aging and possibly batonnage). Plush yet elegant. Expressive and really appetizing. I could sit and smell this for a long time. Similar character on the palate as on the nose, but a surprising amount of acid, which shifts the fruit profile more toward lemon and roasted pineapple than apple and stone fruit. Again very satisfying in an almost savory, food-like way. Quite nutty. Medium-full bodied and creamy, with a long, intense finish. Lots of flavor concentration without the wine itself being heavy.

This is extremely good. If I tasted it blind, I would probably say it was a $50-75 Meursault. Really. At $25, it’s crazy. Buy it.

  • Immediate impression of oak, which dissipated quickly. Silky smooth texture with enough lift to keep it interesting. Very nice flavors. Meant to be enjoyed rather than to impress. A wine like this one that doesn't shout about itself makes for a go-to house wine.
