Spot on.

Antonio Galloni: 95+ "This is one of the most polished, graceful wines I have ever tasted from Giorgio Pelissero"

  • Two hour decant, heat on initial nose settled into lovely fruit/rose, initial tennis melted into great balance, well made wine, loads of finesse, mid-palate explosion of fruit followed by a lovely long, tongue tingling finish. Well done, would certainly buy again.

  • Good freshness to the nose, though a touch of EtOH pokes around. The body is med>full, with lots of richness and boldness to the red/dark red fruits. A good soil component, with red/purple flowers, some fennel and herb notes. The persistence and balance is above-average, this is ready to roll right now and for the next 10 years. Very tasty. 14,5% abv., recommended

  • Tasted at the winery, the bottle having been opened the day prior. The nose is amazing, delivering assertive purple floral, soil and ripe berry notes. The palate is more poised, it's confident, and despite the vintage, this shows structure and good length. Aged in 100% old wood cask, this is a winner. 14,5% abv. (resolved), drink now thru 2024. recommended

    Served non-blind.

  • Medium red. This has good fruit in the nose, on a base of herbs and spice. Very good intensity and length. Structure is restrained.
