  • Hint av maling, litt te, lakris. I munnen noe rips, litt tynn frukt, men likevel intens først i munnen. Litt bitter i ettersmaken.

  • Moderately expressive and complex aromatics of cherries, strawberries, roses, tar, nuts and mushrooms, followed by fresh, round and juicy taste with very good acidity, intensity and pretty outspoken structure. Let this breathe for two hours or decant before serving. Will probably get more expressive in a few years. Very nice.

  • Beautiful wine. Decanted for ~2 hours, which was perfect. Drank over 4 hours. Nose was classic barolo and became more complex over course of evening. Medium tannins. Was still singing at end of night. Likely to improve and a long life ahead, but very enjoyable now.

  • Red with brown hues, pleasant notes of cherry, flower bed and dried orange on the nose, great balance and clarity, medium body, ethreal quality, flavors of liquified mineral, leather, dried cherry and blackberry, tart, begs for a plate of salumi, food friendly, still very young and looking like one that could cruise in the cellar for another 2 decades

  • Very pretty nose of cherry, raspberry, rose, herbs, hint of alcoholic heat. Mor red fruit on the palate, with moderate weight, great balance and medium+ length or better. A lovely Barolo, with light-medium tannins that point to a long pleasant life ahead. 91 now, but possibly conservative.
