An aged gamay has been a rare treat for me. Decanted for ca 30 min. The nose was quite reticent with a slightly metallic whiff and some dark berries. Medium(-) bodied, smooth, very gentle tannins and nice acidic grip, delivering subtle red (lingon) berries. Initially felt balanced and a bit tight. Got a tad better with more airtime. It has kept well but I don´t think it has improved much during the years. Still very drinkable but not so interesting.
