Creme de cassis, blackberry, dark cherry, sweet tobacco. Medium-plus body. Medium-minus, fine-grained tannins. Long finish. Went well with NY Strip. Good - not expecting further improvement at this point.

Dark red color. Not showing any significant aging. Full bodied aromas of red fruit. Upon opening the wine was tight and had noticeable sediment on the cork. I decanted through a metal filter and waited 2 hours. The wine made a complete transformation into a beautifully balanced, full bodied wine that was a pleasure to drink. This is one wine that really benefited from time in the bottle!

Medium dark garnet red trending towards brick. Pleasant full body aromas of red fruit with a touch of lipstick and green pepper. Flavors of red fruit and cigar lead the way. The wine finishes with a nice bite of tannins. Opened and decanted 2 hours before tasting. It was approachable and enjoyable from the very start. Based on color, I would not sit on this one for too many more years.

Drinking well now, has the classic dusty tannins/ minerality of a stags leap cab. Fruit still expressing itself well and in balance with the tannins. Medium length finish.
