Mature, complex and fresh showing no signs of decline. This is probably the best P&H Hudson that I have had over many recent vintages. A fantastic wine if you like the big, bold, buttery CA style.

An extraordinary Chardonnay. Suburb vineyard, great producer, excellent vineyard. Exactly what I would expect from a top tier California Chardonnay, it doesn't get much better.

Incredible stone fruit with a touch of neutral oak that adds some spice. Great texture and layers of complexity. Well balanced and the finish goes on for 30 seconds. I love the work they do at Patz & Hall!

Ugh. Rather heavy with oak and uninteresting overall, maybe that's because we were also finishing off an Arnot-Roberts Watson Ranch.

A fairly typical Hudson Vineyard wine, that is, a bit "big" for my tastes.
