  • Despite the vintage, this still shows the Murrieta richly pigmented and sweetly fruited house style. Full maturity, getting tealike, dried strawberry, actually reminds me of old Geyserville. Good core of acidity gives freshness to the remaining fruit, gets beefy and savory on the finish. These should all be drunk up now, nowhere else to go, but a strong showing from a budget bottling in a lesser vintage.
