  • Still perfect!

Very dark garnet with almost black reflexes.
As soon as opened surprised with an unbelievable freshness with eucalyptus-minty notes.
After half an hour developed leaving place to some dried dates and dark berries marmelade with some tar-hearthy finish.
Loved it! I think it passes its peak already but at the same time I think waiting other 2-3 years for drinking it won't make it any worse that fast.

  • Deep dark blood red color with an insanely intense nose of sweet ripe fruits, dried grass, coconut cream, menthol and american oak. This wine started off quite tight with a slight effervescent-type of astringency but quickly blew away after an hour of air. My initial impression of this wine is its richness - though not over the top, slightly sweet, medium-full-bodied with a slight alcoholic edge. The flavor components evoke comparisons to sweet raspberries, marion berries, vanilla oak, a hint of tobacco and menthol with a pleasant flinty mineral towards the backend and nice long finish. This wine appears to be on its last legs, I think it would have been much nicer if I had had this 2 or 3 years ago. Nonetheless, this is still a very well-made and quality wine.
