  Kleur: Diep opaak donkerrood. Aroma / bouquet: Explosief bouquet, serieuze extractie, boordevol donker fruit (bramen, zwarte bessen, kersen), inkt, mokka, bittere chocola. Smaak / Afdronk: Wow, een meer dan indrukwekkende concentratie en power. Zoals gebruikelijk met een wat beperkte fraicheur. fluweelzachte tannines. Verleidelijke powerwijn. Algemeen / potentieel: Zoals gezegd, een verleidelijke powerwijn… Waarvan ik zo langzamerhand ga vinden dat het steeds ingewikkelder wordt om de ene van de volgende met tamtam aangekondigde nieuwe ster van elkaar te onderscheiden… 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 13 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 94/100
  
  Colour: Deep opaque dark red. Aroma / bouquet: Explosive bouquet, serious extraction, packed with dark fruit (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries), ink, mocha, bitter chocolate. Taste / Aftertaste: Wow, a more than impressive concentration and power. As usual with a somewhat limited freshness. velvety tannins. Seductive power wine. General / potential: As said, a seductive power wine... Which I am gradually finding that it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish one from the next new star announced with fanfare... 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 13 + Taste / Aftertaste: 17 + General / potential: 9 = 94/100

  Spinned tannin, cherry, graphite, lots of sweet alcohol, somewhat abrupt even. Big. 93-94

  Decanted 1 hour. Started with graphite, black fruit, cassis, anise. Similar flavors showing a purity of fruit with a long finish. Smooth silky tannins.

  Drank the other half of this coravined bottle. Fantastic wine. Textbook Schrader wine properties. Gorgeous color almost inky black looking, tannins were present but the fruit once it got to room temperature, was outstanding. Finish was very long and lots of tobacco and leather mixed into the fruit flavors. Truly and enjoyable wine with seafood.
