Drank over two nights several nights ago with no notes, but I agree with Baudelaire about night two. This was a bit simple and not too giving the first night, but on the second night it was more layered and I remember a bit of smokiness along with blue fruit (and more).
I'm editing my comment to append the following from the sales pitch in Nov. 2014. I read it shortly after posting my comment. I wish I'd have read it before opening the bottle, because it is true "Anyone that opens a bottle of Casal de Arman red within a year after shipping and/or consumes it within the first few hours will be missing the Galician point (and the magic). With 12+ additional months in the bottle (and/or with significant oxygen interaction) “meh” turns to multiple shades of mauve as elements cascade into one another"

I tasted it an hour after opening, but this note is based on the flavor found after 24 hours (which was much better than the first taste). Light body, minerality and acid-- no wood flavor. A nice note of blackberry or boysenberry at first, followed by sharper red fruits. Very nice after one day.

Had over two nights. Fairly fruit forward, but balanced. No notes and nothing particularly interesting stands out. A good all-purpose wine with food. So-so to questionable QPR.

Very similar to previous vintages. Ruby red, some rustic earth, and a bit of tart red fruit. Palate is on the lighter side with cherry, pomegranate, and earth. Will not seek out this wine again.
