Significant butter on the nose, but oak well integrated on palate adding some roundness to the texture, good fruit remaining with nice acidity and mineralogy on the finish. Drinking v well now.

Beautifully rich and deep yet wound through with acidity. Stone and orchard fruit galore, wet rock, and hints of barrel spice. Shows tremendous depth and structure without sacrificing a lithe mouthfeel. Still young, I would imagine this could easily go another decade.

This was drunk over two days. On the first day, yellow apple and lemon citrus with a fairly strong (but not offensive) oaky note, with good acidity and a medium to long finish. On the second day, the oak had blended in somewhat. This is excellent, and at the beginning of its drinking window. Average value at about $90.

Absolutely amazing wine, very typical Corton-Charlemagne with loads of ripe fruit, penetrating minerality, carefully balanced oak, and just that presence on the palate that makes you go "wow".

Chilled for approximately 3 hours, then decanted prior to serving. Shows very young but with all the pieces for greatness. Ripe apple, lemon skin, limes, oak, and spices all come out as the wine warms up. On the palate there is excellent balance between the rich fruit, citrus, and oak. They interact well even at this early age. Good mineral tones throughout. The finish is wonderful, creamy and rich without being sweet and overpowering. Great balance.
