Aaldering Tasting (1855): Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, cedar wood. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blackcurrant, cassis, cedar wood, and slight green capsicum. Medium finish. Acceptable quality. Very typical Cab-Merlot blend and nothing special. Drink now, and over the next 5 years.
