Dark color. Nice earthy slightly mineral bouquet. Dense and concentrated with lots of Earth and matched by tannins and acidity. Nice flavors of Earth with hints of mineral cedar dark plums. While concentrated this is not as expressive as I would like. if the fruit outlasts the tannins that should hopefully develop further in the bottle over the next few years. Drink now to 2024, possibly longer. I would wait at least six months before trying my next bottle. Well worth trying if you can find a well stored bottle as this was only made kosher once. Very old world style old traditional Bordeaux with 12.5% ABV.

The last bottle I had I thought was off, but not bad. This confirmed my suspicions as it is a great bottle more in line with my past experience. This is on the early part of its maturity and drinking beautifully. Dark garnet color with no fading at edges. Nice supple earthy forest floor with dark plums bouquet. Medium bodied and very smooth with rich concentrated flavors of earth, forest, dark plums, hints of minerals. Can enjoy now or age for at least another few years (5 maybe). That being said, why rock the boat. Enjoy now and over the next 2-3 years safely. The only time this wine was made kosher and as such, well worth trying.

I had this last a year or two ago and it was still tannic and backward. The bottle tonight was very different. While not bad, it does seem to be an off bottle. Still good concentration, earth, fruit, but some slight tart or sour notes. If this is typical, which I dont think it is, it needs to be drunk up. Still a decent bottle, but not what I remembered of it an its potential
