Ruby red. Fruity, good mouthfeel. Some lenght. High acid, some tannins. Improved a lot with air. Got softer and more complex. A positive surprise. Really nice wine, good QPR. Has some similarities to Austrian Blaufränkisch - I guess it's the acid, fruit and tannin structure. And it's from colder climate than the average Spanish wine.
I guess this will even improve from now - 1-2 points are in when this smooths out. Looking forward.

This was surprisingly good given the price. This is clearly Spanish with lots of vanilla oak and a Burgundian sweetness. The plum-like aromatic profile is different than that of a tempranillo.

A lot of Wines at Tommy's Clambake (again) (Tommy K's.): My first time trying this wine or this grape. It is 100% Concejon. I believe it sells for under $20. Cool label for mathletes. This is an easy to drink, spicy/oaky wine with some black cherry fruit. Nothing special here but drinks fine.

Interesting wine which I would describe as a crowd pleaser. Not very structured and too much vanilla but an easy drinker.
