  We hosted a wine dinner last night and served about six different whites and reds. This was the hit of the evening even though some of other wines have a bigger marketing "footprint". A nice pinot with some heft, polished tannins and filled with fruit and some gentle spices. It was terrific with basil-seasoned lamb lollipops and NY strip steaks.
