Vey nice drop of claret - better than expected. Was given this quite a while back and it's been sitting in the cellar clearly getting better Smooth black fruit driven classic St Emilion flavours. Good value.

Super alcoólico e desequilibrado. Mesmo após algum tempo aberto e aerando na taça o vinho não melhora. Guardei a garrafa para testar hoje se há alguma evolução, mas até agora foi uma decepção.

Very dense, opaque, youthful purple color. Somewhat restrained nose with mainly aromas of fresh blackcurrants, some red fruits and a little alcohol. Dry yet juicy on the palate with chewy, tannic texture and flavors of fresh blackcurrants, ripe dark berries and some dark-toned oak. Moderately high acidity. Dry, harsh and bitter finish with quite powerdul flavors of pencil shavings, fresh dark fruits, some peppery spice, a little wood and a hint of sweeter mocha.
A dead-serious, structured Bordeaux that is still too young to show anything of interest. The fruit feels still quite one-dimensional, the oak isn't overdone but somewhat disjointed from the fruit and the tannins feel quite hard and angular. There's nothing wrong here, but nothing really memorable either. Only time will tell if the wine will turn out better with age; based on how it is drinking now, I wouldn't approach this at least in the following 5 years. Priced according to its quality at 12€ for a 16 cl glass.
