  • Light, easy gong, not much going on, maybe, but well made, the oak is integrated. It is very nice, smooth, showing some minerals also, but somewhat lacking when it comes to great Cornas-personality ...

  • This is without doubt the best Cornas and come to think of it best syrah I know. It has a sense of greatness that I normally only find in good Bordeaux and napa cabs. I've been in a mission to try other cornas but now I think I wasted my money on those other ones, instead of buying more of this. It smells and tastes like smoked spanish paprika, bay leaves, dissolved black fruits, earth, crushed stones, and sandy tannins on the finish, just like I love my wine. the color is cloudy dark red. Pop and pour it was amazing but the fruit was subdued, my wife didnt like it, but after decanting it came out to balance the smoke and stone, and my wife loved it then. To my horror I find that its not sold in Denmark anymore.

  • Still detectable extraction from the very modern winemaking, fruit is amble and round, this is far from a traditional Cornas, lacking the iodide, the minerality and firm, stubborn character bit it is still a nice, mature syrah-wine, a smooth operator, that has grown up. Will keep,m but probably not improve.

  • Dried fruits on the nose. Taste is medium++ bodied, with good supporting acidity, and soft tannins, but they are still definetly there! Attractive wine, that most likely is just past it´s peak as it starts to be dominated by the dried fruit-raisin-feeling.

  • A powerful northern Rohne with pepper, wet stone, chervil, clove, liquorice and dried fruit. It has a nice long finish with a certain fatness, almost creamy mouthwatering sustain.
