Dark garnet color, only slight rim variation. Decanted for about 45 minutes, mainly to remove sediment. Unmistakable Bradford Mountain Peterson aromatics. This wine is holding up beautifully. Still had great fruit and mellow tannins.

Surprisingly sour on the finish. It is a subtle sourness, but still, a tartness more than expected on what is really a decently tannic finish. It's a bit of a straight shooter. Not too complex, not too deep... the two things i look for most in a wine. It is complex, but without saying much. Complex without substance, i suppose... The dryness was quite nice, but i will not be coming back to this one, ever I think. For the price point of roughly $47, there is much better wine out there. Much better syrahs out there.

Regular Peterson quality = great. Unfortunately last bottle from my cellar; fully developed, but no rush to drink this.

Really enjoyed this wine. Great balance and complexity, some deeper flavors I usually associate with more bottle age.

Oak and earthy notes. Medium body and smooth finish.
