Rhone Riesling. Straw colored, with a pronounced aroma of apricots and a touch of honey. More of the same in the palate. No minerality, just a rich, honeyed sweetness with a nice clean finish. Not unctuous. Easy to pair with any food you would have a Riesling or (even better) Gewurz. But the alcohol is high (14%) so don't let the riesling-like taste fool you.
