The wine is clear, with pale lemon gold color, and thick legs.
On the nose, the wine is clean, with medium plus primary aroma intensity of white fruits, mango, tropical fruits, hints of pineapple, citrus fruits, lemon, lemon zest, floral, honeysuckle, white flowers blossom, herbal, along with medium secondary aroma intensity of sweet oak spices, vanilla, and medium minus tertiary aroma intensity of honey.
On the palate, the wine is dry, with medium plus acidity, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol, medium plus primary flavor intensity of ripe white fruits, white peach, melon, citrus fruits, lemon, lemon zest, along with medium secondary flavor intensity of oak spices.
Finish is medium plus, with fresh and live acidity.
The wine is of a very good quality, as it is showing great balance between fruit characteristics, acidity and minerality which is almost irony like. Length is good, with fresh and vibrant acidity, showing good fruit concentration and multi layers of characteristics, mainly on the nose, which makes it complex and appealing.
The wine was expressive during tasting, however I believe can benefit from further bottle aging, especially to further developed more tertiary flavor component within its potential.

Tasting Ground official tasting, JL Chave Hermitage blanc vertical (Oinoscent): Decanted 9.20, rebottled 10.30, tasted 14.20 The wine shows medium to high intensity, floral notes, overripe tropical notes, citrus notes, less depth and complexity than the 1999, spicier and nuttier maybe, with incense notes Palate with more depth and structure than the nose, again nutty with some coffee notes, medium to full body, medium acidity -/- Next day it had kept the same profile

Mid yellow colour. Nose shows white and yellow fruit, almonds, maybe little bee wax; very complex. Palate delivers seamless intensity carrying into a long finish.

High-end Rhone Dinner at a friend's house. (Hollywood): Deep gold. Very advanced, honeysuckle, slightly sweet, long finish. Likely heat damage. Bummer.

At Pappas Steakhouse by the coravin glass. $35.00
So singular and unique. Definitely needs heavy food. Would have loved this in cooler weather with some stew or soup.
