Not too sure about this one. I would say that 89.6 average CT rating is probably right on the money, although I'd say that this is probably closer to an 88 than a 90. I would definitely say that the nose is extremely inviting. The entry of strawberry and some kind of young banana also here, and this one really does have a nice "pucker" effect from start to finish. However, the wine is rather short on the finish, and leaves kind of a strange aftertaste. This one was almost selected as a Thanksgiving wine, but curiosity got the best of me. And, when you have an hour or so to spare and want some private time, this is a decent 12%-er that is a nice, easy drinker.

We shared this with friends who came over for tapas on 5/28/16. It had a rich, fragrant bouquet of pear, apple, bread, citrus, cream and almond aromas. The palate was smooth, and rich with flavors of pear, apple, orange peel, almond and minerals.

Occasional dinner group: A mixed set.. (By FN): Beautiful cava with some minerals, mild citrus, licorice, ripe yellow fruits and apples. Very clean wine with some length. No more notes.

Spanish wines #1001: Fresh and clean. Some DP like herbal notes, peppermint. Bigger accidity that L'Origan. Finish a bit tart and a bit cloying on the finish. Quite good anyway.

Liked very much as it compares favorably to higher priced Champagne. Refreshing, light on it's feet, but still substantial in texture.
