  Deep color with hints of purple and red. The nose is intense with anise, cooked fruit, cherry, basalmic notes and a beautiful earthiness. Blackberry, cherry, earth, and blueberries round out the palate followed by some light vanilla wood. The tannins are fine and it shows a good acidity. Really a nice wine. 4/5
