  Beautiful, rich nose loaded with ultra ripe boysenberry, bay leaf, wild blue and blackberries as well as some Asian spices. Medium-full bodied, this is rich and round and fully mature with plenty of life left. Well-stored bottles should reach 20 (max) in good shape. Drink now-2032 92

  I had no problem with the funk the first night. However, that receded tonight and was very smooth. Classic CDP!

  This really needs some time to breathe as right out the bottle it is a little harsh with high alcohol dominating. After some time in decanter it opens up really nicely with plum, strawberry, some spice, then a savoury note at the end. Tannins are quite smooth but add nice structure. This is quite a powerful wine. Good stuff!
