Smooth and velvety, this wine is one to savour. There is a stunning rancio note on the nose. It is quite serious, with lots of herbal and cooked fruit notes, alongside walnut and cigar smoke. Tannins aren't too high and are silky; the alcohol is high but barely noticeable. Such complexity and intensity. This is pure class.
