  The grapes here were picked in the last week of November when the temerature was -7c. This is a baby eiswein bottled as an Auslese. This is were I must take exception with the ratings of the WA who gave this wine 85? points and called it too candied I think. I did not find this candied or cloying. I thought it had excellent balance and had a supple richness. Concentrated fruit notes of quince, asian pear and a hint of vanilla bean. Should be a very good value for what you are getting. BUY THIS WINE. 94-95 points.
