A pleasant surprise from previous reviews. Drinking well now, just entering the aged riesling characteristics but still relatively fresh. Very enjoyable - drink over the next 5 years.

I like the balance on this - 11.6% abv and 0.13RS is dry but a few years in bottle has eased the acidity impact and left a pleasing, maturing CV riesling
Petrol dominates the nose
Intensity on palate - slate, mineral, citrus - ending in long green tangy finish

Lime, minerals, sherbet, good acidity; a well balanced wine. Good aging potential.

Australian Wine Unearthed Public Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Mandarin and orange nose with talc. Good fruit intensity with acid that becomes just a little bit bitter on the back palate.
