Tight on opening, but opened up nicely over a couple of hours. Very Gevrey like with meat, spice and black cherry. Richer and rounder in style given Roty house style and vintage. Very good concentration for it's pedigree. Needs time to show more subtlety.

Open 30 minutes before serving. Black cherries and berries throughout with hints of liqueur and dark chocolate. Very good concentration for its level. New oak still a little pronounced, so I'd think this better in a few years, 2020-. Great value wine.

Picked up a 4 pack and had to try one..plenty of red and dark red fruit to start and a minty truffle-y earthy thing going on that is delicious! Silky with good energy and mild wood that should integrate?. Fine tannin and can't wait to see what this does in a few more years, will pick up more, this is a great bargain imo.

Tasty, primary fruit with meaty spice and a little wood. Youthful peak window.
