Drank over a couple hours after decanting off sediment. Medium ruby with significant bricking at the rim. Smelled red cherry, candied raspberry, some woodiness, and later also cinnamon and mushroom; the taste kept powerfully on the red fruit, with a mouthfeel that was maybe a bit unyielding until it started to soften toward the end and open into the spice a bit. Acid and tannin were still present to balance the medium body, and the medium finish held on to that red fruit all the way through. Seems to be entering its drinking window.

From 375ml. Consumed a few weeks ago - no formal note but I thought this was in a great place and enjoyed it significantly more than the earlier tasters below.

Onklers Corton Grand Cru Smaking (Bodø): Hints of chemicals on the approach. Red currant with a smokey touch. Still a bit grippy and would be best to hold back for a couple of years.

Still very young. It got better after about an hour in the decanter. It will get better with age. Black and deep red berry... Very Corton in the glass. Taught and tannic on the finish. Even though I suspect this will get much better with time, I won't buy anymore because the price paid vs. eventual reward won't ever meet in my humble opinion.

Tasted blind: initially got fresh pepper notes with cherry, strawberry, light orange peel, and almost thought this was a CdP except alcohol was low (although seemed pretty full bodied for a Burg) and acid was on the high side. Better than the '05 I thought, but still one dimensional and clunky with high tannins, generic red fruits. Classic Corton, with lots of muscle but lacks finesse and complexity. Still, this was not bad, and still very young.
