    I like the wines of Vincent Girardin and also enjoy their excellet QPR. This was tasted over 2 evenings with a lot of distractions in a very informal setting. Surprisingly open for 2012 Corton, beautiful aromatics of dark chocolate, smoke, red and dark red berries, also some sweet spices and a mineral undertone. Medium-full bodied, creamy but has medium acidity and medium+ tannin adding grip. Very good length. A very very good Corton-Perrières that was not the most complex wine of the night but so much pleasure to drink and very seductive.
